Walnuts contain fiber, carbohydrates, protein, iron, and offer over 15 different health benefits all targeting different areas of the body! As you might have heard, a healthy alternative to peanut butter which is not very healthy is WALNUT BUTTER!
WALNUT BUTTER RECIPE:
-2 cups chopped raw walnuts
-1 teaspoon honey
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
Preheat oven to 350, spread one cup of walnuts on a baking sheet and bake until fragrant, 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
Place remaining raw nuts and toasted nuts in food processor. Process until mixture is a coarse paste, about 30 seconds. Add honey and salt, process until smooth. Store in refrigerator with covered jar and enjoy!!
